The Mammut 240 Speed Lock float transmitter is designed for quick installation even in the most difficult situations. The durable aluminum construction ensures stability and lightness. The durable and easy telescopic quick release system enables quick and safe installation even with gloves on. An audible click confirms that the transmitter is correctly installed and locked.
The ergonomic handle connects to the open transmitter and ensures free movement during use. The advanced 360° depth detector always provides important information, and the shaped tip ensures effective penetration into rocks and saves energy during detection. The transmitter base is marked in orange and serves as a visual guide when approaching a buried person. All Mammut avalanche transceivers are UIAA certified, ensuring effective rescue, long service life and an ergonomic grip. The sensor length is 45 cm when closed and 240 cm when open. It comes with a carrying case with a built-in emergency plan.
